6 - Review Your Child's Progress

Position of your child and the teacher

Ask the teacher to identify the location in the room from where he or she teaches. Ideally, the teacher will be away from the glare of the windows or the noise of the hallway.

Ask the teacher to ensure that the other children in the class face their peers while speaking so that your child can hear and lip-read more easily.
