6 - Review Your Child's Progress

Plan a meeting with school officials, if needed

It is best to address any concerns with your child's classroom teacher prior to involving other school officials. Give the teacher time to address your concerns, make necessary changes, and determine if these changes are working.

Depending on your answers to the questions presented on the previous page and the teacher's willingness to work with you, you may need another educational team meeting to discuss adjusting your strategies.

Work with your child's school to plan the meeting. The meeting can occur by phone or in person.
