3 - Working with the School

Participate in a meeting with school personnel

You have likely already met many of the staff you will be working with at your child's school, and now you will formalize these relationships with a team meeting. Before your child enters school, participate in an in-person meeting with your child's educational team.

The term "educational team" refers to both formal (IEP/Section 504) and informal (other parents of children with cochlear implants, teachers, professionals) teams.
