Review classroom adjustments the teacher can make
When meeting with the teacher, ask to see the classroom space, if possible. Once you have surveyed the room, explain that simple changes to the classroom will better support the hearing of your child. The changes fall into five categories:- Improving acoustics
- Reducing background noise
- Optimizing seating
- Creating a visual classroom
- Enforcing classroom rules
